Standard Models Available:
#LBG-724-PSF 0 or 15 ° (LBG15- ) deflection. “Frameless” look. Sub-flange installs directly to framing. Floor
applications to 6” wide. Removable core. Loose or Integral dampers if required. These two models provide identical
room side appearance. ¼” bar - ¼” space as standard.
#LBG30-724-PSF Same frame as above. 30° dogleg bars in 1 way or 2 way blow configurations allow additional
flexibility, particularly as a ceiling diffuser replacement. Walls and ceilings only. Removable core. Integral dampers
if required. 1/8 bars – ½” OC. 2 way available, 6-12" wide only.
#LBG-B25-RC (0, 15 or 30°) Identical room side appearance as above for millwork/kick space or floors (not 30°).
No sub flange. Removable core. Integral damper if required.
#LBG-215-CRM (0, 15 or 30°) Same bar patterns but narrow flange with concealed screw mount. Walls & ceilings only.
Removable core. Separate damper if required.
Construction is of 6063-T5 hard aluminum. Overall quality is noticeably better than competitive offerings. In addition,
our removable cores are securely attached with screws - No rattling or safety issues that may result from less secure
methods.
Maximum one piece lengths are 72x24” with unlimited
continuous lengths with hairline joints. Minimum width
on all models is a nominal 2“ (2 bars). OBD ’s are 2”
minimum or 2½” if attached. Mitred corners are
available with standard lead times.
The standard ¼” bars on ½” centers in 0° or 15°
deflections provide an identical, easily paintable,
minimalist look. Other bar and spacing options
are available but may not permit core removal.
Standard finishes are (both paintable) white or
clear anodized. Upgrade finish is “Blackout” which
is furnished as clear anodized face only with rear
retainer bars etc. black to minimize see-in. Bronze
anodized and standard or custom baked on
finishes are available if required.
Our relationship with a custom shop allows us to offer special constructions such as curved or stainless steel units.
RULE OF THUMB SIZING: In most cases the throws of linear grilles will be in excess of that actually required.
Consequently sizing is based primarily upon the noise criterion (NC) which for most spaces in high end homes is
targeted at NC 20-25. Therefore for the standard 0 & 15° bars (SIZE 2 ½” AND UP) utilize the following:
SUPPLY units at 350 cfm per gross square foot of grille (or nominal plenum size).
RETURN units at 250 cfm per gross square foot of grille (or nominal plenum size).
This sizing metric is conservative and other noise conscious trade practices should be followed. However
it has a spotless record in over 15 years of service. Please refer to Performance Chart especially for 2" sizing
